Compact modular amplifier based in LM3886.
We have designed a compact modular amplifier based on the chip of National Semiconductors (now owned by Texas Instruments) used by the world-renowned 47 Labs Sakurasystems in its 47xx Gaincard models and by Clones Audio in its models 25i and 55pm, with the particularity that, be modular, you can connect in parallel, bridge or both, several units and thus be able to double, triple or quadruple the output power, allowing the use, both in basic listening systems in the near field, and in home theater systems. very high performance and high sound pressure.
It is a 60W RMS module with a frequency response from 8Hz to 100KHz and a signal-to-noise ratio of 110dB that makes it the best in its category.
Following the information of the compact system, we attach some measurements made to the prototypes.

Through a multipin connector, the PCB can be connected directly to a Hypex DLCP model DSP, to form an active two, three or four-way system, or directly to a PCB with XLR or RCA connections to form a multichannel surround system Up to eight channels.
Using the existing jumper on the principal PCB, one or several LM3886 can be combined and configured in a single, bridge, parallel or bridge / parallel manner, thus achieving different output powers.
Simple configuration: up to eight individual channels.
Bridge configuration: up to four individual channels.
Parallel configuration: up to four individual channels.
Bridge / parallel configuration: up to two individual channels.
Depending on the configuration we use and the power supply, we can obtain powers from 56W RMS to almost 400W RMS which gives us enormous versatility.
